We Be Big by Rick Burgess and Bill "Bubba" Bussey

We Be Big: The Mostly True Story of How Two Kids from Calhoun County, Alabama, Became Rick and Bubba
By Rick Burgess and Bill “Bubba” Bussey with Don Keith

This is a great book that presents how Rick and Bubba came to be “The Rick & Bubba Show.” A funny and heartwarming read that gives great insight into the success of Rick and Bubba. It is presented with a lot of humor and faith, a very fun read!

The book is filled with personal anecdotes from Rick and Bubba and details of how they came together to form their show. There are also stories of how their faith has lent to their success and guided them through difficult times, including the death of Rick’s young son.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking to learn more about Rick and Bubba or who just enjoy a good humorous read. You will be entertained and uplifted by this wonderful book!

A Conversation with God by Alton Gansky

A Conversation with God by Alton Gansky is a unique book written as a series of questions and answers with God, Jesus, and other Biblical figures. 55 questions are presented and answers are presented in first person language as if answered by God and Jesus themselves. This is a great concept and makes the book very interesting to read.

Each question is just a few pages making this book a great daily devotional to enable you to digest the information presented in each answer. I found the information well presented and Biblically sound. Questions answered include, “God, who are you? What are you?” and “Is Satan for real?” and many others.

This is an excellent book for anyone seeking answers to the questions that we all would love to ask God. I would recommend it to anyone searching for those answers!

Little Star by Anthony DeStefano

Little Star written by Anthony DeStefano is a wonderful children’s book based on the Christmas story. It is beautifully illustrated by Mark Elliott. My 4 year old son really loves this story and has asked for it several times since we read it to him the first night!

Little Star presents a fictional story of the Christmas Star and how he came to be. It is a cute story and presents the Christmas Story in a different way for young children. It is written in easy-to-understand language for children and the illustrations are gorgeous and help to hold the child's attention!

I would not hesitate to recommend this book to anyone with young children. They will love it!!

The Ultimate DVD Read and Share Bible

This Bible is great for my 4 year old son. He loves the short stories and it holds his attention very well. It is beautifully illustrated as well.

This volume contains over 100 Bible stories in very simple and easy to understand, child friendly language. It does a great job of keeping faithful to the original stories and keeping all of the main points intact in a simple way.

The companion DVD contains 26 of the stories on 2 DVDs. They are very well done and my son likes them as well!

I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone with young children in their home. It is a great way to introduce more Bible stories to them in a format that they will enjoy and understand!
