A Conversation with God by Alton Gansky
A Conversation with God by Alton Gansky is a unique book written as a series of questions and answers with God, Jesus, and other Biblical figures. 55 questions are presented and answers are presented in first person language as if answered by God and Jesus themselves. This is a great concept and makes the book very interesting to read.
Each question is just a few pages making this book a great daily devotional to enable you to digest the information presented in each answer. I found the information well presented and Biblically sound. Questions answered include, “God, who are you? What are you?” and “Is Satan for real?” and many others.
This is an excellent book for anyone seeking answers to the questions that we all would love to ask God. I would recommend it to anyone searching for those answers!

It is written in easy-to-understand language for children and the illustrations are gorgeous and help to hold the child's attention!

The Faith of Ronald Reagan by Mary Beth Brown
"My father was a godly man. He loved God. When he decided to run for president, he didn't do it to raise himself up, to be admired, or to have others think he was great. He didn't do it out of selfish reasons or because it is the most powerful position in the country. He did it out of duty. He believed God had called him to run for president. He believed God had things for him to do." ~ Michael Reagan, from the forward
The Faith of Ronald Reagan by Mary Beth Brown delves into the private faith of Ronald Reagan and how it influenced his life. The quote about gives a small insight into the man and to this book. The book traces how faith influenced Reagan from his early childhood to the presidency. Included are many interviews with family, friends and colleagues and the words of Reagan himself.
I fond the book to be a great glimpse into the private side of Reagan and how his faith in God shaped his life and his presidency. I was inspired to learn of his deep rooted faith and how he applied it to his life.
I would recommend this book to anyone that has an interest in presidential history and the faith of our leaders.

Tithing: Test Me In This by Douglas Leblanc
Tithing: Test Me In This by Douglas Leblanc is part of the Ancient Practices Series from Thomas Nelson Publishing. Instead of a traditional overview of tithing and it's ties to the Bible, Leblanc and Tickle instead chose to interview eleven different individuals and couples who make tithing a part of their life. Each chapter describes how tithing has affected the interviewees.
This book is a good introduction to tithing and presents reasons why people make it part of their lives. It is presented in a format that is very easy to read and understand. The book contains a study guide at the end so it could be used for small group discussions on tithing. The notes sections contains many outside references to other writings and scriptural support for the subject as well.
I would recommend this book to anyone that is struggling with tithing as part of their Christian walk. It presents the subject objectively without pressuring the reader into tithing. A good introduction to the subject presented in an enjoyable way. Four stars!

Then Sings My Soul: Special Edition by Robert Morgan
Then Sings My Soul: Special Edition written by Robert Morgan is a wonderful book that presents the stories behind 150 classic hymns. It is bound and presented beautifully with a tough cover and Deckle Edging on the pages. Each story is presented in a devotional style, with each story of the hymn an easy, one-page read. Each story also presents a related Bible verse. This is a very interesting book, as well as being a great devotional.
I found the information presented to be very educational and also a great testimony to the writers of these hymns. The story of each hymn is succinctly told and always from a Biblical perspective.
This book would be a great gift for anyone that is interested in Christian history or music history. I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to learn more about how the hymns we take for granted came to be!
