The Band that Played On by Steve Turner presents the inspiring story of the musicians on the fateful maiden voyage of the Titanic. It was very interesting to learn the life stories of these brave musicians that remained on board while the ship was sinking in order to help the other passengers remain calm.
This book presents information that has not been overly explored in previous Titanic publications. It will be of interest to Titanic and history buffs alike.
I would recommend this book to anyone that has an interest in the Titanic as well in an inspiring story of bravery and compassion!
