The Gaither Homecoming Bible

The Gaither Homecoming Bible is a brand new release from Bill and Gloria Gaither. It is a NKJV Bible and is illustrated throughout with lovely pictures. Throughout the book there are stories that go along with hymns that are included, a very nice addition that brings new meaning to the songs! It also includes devotional material and writings by over 60 of the Homecoming Friends. This is a very nice hardcover Bible with a dust jacket. One improvement for me would be a nicer leather-bound edition that would be sturdier for repeating use. Other than that this is a great Bible! This Bible would be recommended reading for who loves the Gaithers or is looking to get more meaning from Christian music. I give it five stars! By Faith, Not By Sight by Scott MacIntyre

By Faith, Not By Sight: The Inspirational Story of a Blind Prodigy, a Life-Threatening Illness, and an Unexpected Gift by Scott McIntyre is a very inspirational book. It tells the story of the former American Idol contestant and how he overcame severe struggles to become a successful musician. I enjoyed the book even more because I was a fan of Scott when he was on American Idol. Learning more about his life and the obstacles he overcame deepened my love for his music and made me admire him even more. This is an excellent book for anyone that is struggling in their own life and will provide encouragement for many! 1000 Days: The Ministry of Christ by Jonathan Falwell

1000 Days: The Ministry of Christ is a revealing look at the life and, more specifically, the three years of his ministry. The author, Jonathan Falwell, is pastor at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg,VA and son of the late Dr. Jerry Falwell.

I enjoyed the book as an educational look at the life of Christ without being pushy. It educates the reader with facts about Christ’s ministry during the roughly three years that Jesus was in the public eye. It is a great book for those that want to be better educated about this time period.
I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to have a deeper understanding of the life of Christ and his teachings.
